MRI and CT suites at Hartswood and Roding hospitals
B&C were commissioned as lead consultant to consider overall redevelopment/re-organisation which resulted after some consideration with the provision of a fixed MRI and CT suite at Spire Hartswood and Spire Roding Hospitals to replace their existing mobile scanner.
All works were carried out whilst the hospitals continued to function and the mobile scanner arrived on a daily basis alongside the construction site.
Spire Hartswood
- Overall construction cost circa £1.5m
- Completed on time and within budget
- Construction includes piled foundations and gas membrane pumped drainage
- Lightweight external walls consisting of a metal stud inner leaf system, high levels insulation and brick external skin
- Lightweight internal partitions for flexibility
